Waxed canvas is a durable, natural cotton fabric finished with a wax coating for added water and dirt resistance. It has a structured feel that softens over time, developing a lived-in look with use. Designed to handle the elements while ageing beautifully.

CARE & END OF USE

Natural materials are chosen for their lower impact and unique character. They will soften, fade, and show signs of use over time. With the right care, they are made to last, but they won’t wear in the same way as synthetic materials like polyester. These changes are part of their story, not a fault.

Product Care

Brush off loose sand and dirt after use
Wipe clean inside and out with a cold, damp cloth
Dry thoroughly before storing, especially the lining
Do not place loose ice inside, use ice packs only
Avoid leaving in heat and extended direct sun when not in use
Do not immerse in water
Avoid hand washing, machine washing, and dry cleaning
Avoid chlorine, pool water
Store in a cool, dry place, either folded flat or in shape
Re-wax the canvas exterior occasionally to maintain water resistance

End of Use

Once fully worn out, remove any zips, straps, or hardware for reuse or recycling
Separate layers and repurpose the fabric where possible, or follow local textile recycling guidelines
The natural jute insulation can be composted at home where suitable

Second duffle bag

Second duffle bag. Bought one for kids school camp and was very impressed at the size and quality. Had to replace my work bag and knew this was a good choice. Fits 7 complete uniforms and all other personal gear for 7:7 roster. Was able to condense two old damaged bags into the duffle with room for more things. If you want a sturdy, roomy, well made bag for travel - this is it. The lining is a nice touch!

Love my new duffle. Exactly what I was expecting. Thick canvas and fully lined with a handy open pocket and a zipped pocket on the inside. Nice thick short straps and bonus long strap. Great weekend bag or carry on bag for air travel. Can’t wait to use it.
